Elias Kuuka and Annika Gautschi win the second WRE stage of BEIRAOM’26

The second forest day of the Beira Alta O’Meeting – Sátão 2026 (BEIRAOM) also counted as a World Ranking Event (WRE) and delivered a demanding, physical and technically challenging race — a true test of endurance and decision-making.

🥇 M21E – 5.8 km | 250 m climb

Victory went to Elias Kuukka, who set a strong pace and won in 39:30.

🥈 Mikko Eerola – 40:01 (+0:31)
🥉 Severi Kymäläinen – 40:56 (+1:26)

Top 5 completed by:
4️⃣ Simon Charles Harden – 42:11 (+2:41)
5️⃣ Euan Tryner – 42:27 (+2:57)

🥇 W21E – 4.4 km | 175 m climb

In the Women’s Elite class, Annika Gautschi Simonse delivered a very consistent race, winning in 35:12.

The podium was completed by:
🥈 Anni Haanpää – 37:07 (+1:55)
🥉 Enni Jalava – 38:52 (+3:40)
