Model Event<\/strong>
– Santu\u00e1rio Nosso Sr. dos Caminhos \u2013 S\u00e1t\u00e3o<\/strong> (see Locations<\/a><\/strong>)

Bib Numbers<\/strong>
– The BIBs will be assigned by the organization, which shall be used by all athletes;
– The BIBs numbers shall be picked at the Secretariat, prior to the event;
– No athlete will be allowed to start without the respective Bib number. The Portuguese athletes may also use the official Bib number provided by de FPOe used by ALL athletes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Start Times<\/strong>
– Athletes without a SI card (chip) or bib<\/strong>, or with a different number<\/strong> than the one used at registration, will not be allowed to start
– SI card changes<\/strong> must be made in advance via email<\/strong>
– SI card changes made during the event will only be accepted at the Event Office<\/strong> and will incur a 5\u20ac fee<\/strong>
– Open categories and M\/W10<\/strong> will not have start times \u2013 instead, they will have a time interval during which they can start using the start unit<\/strong>
– No start time changes<\/strong> are allowed<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Event Office \/ Secretariat<\/strong>
– Will operate at the arenas of the three stages (see schedule in the program<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Toilets<\/strong>
– Available at the arena<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Babysitting<\/strong>
– It will work in the arena of Saturday and Sunday races during the races.

Catering \/ Bar<\/strong>
– A bar will be available at the arena on both days, managed by external vendors
– The organizing club is not responsible<\/strong> for the operation or service of the bar<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parking<\/strong>
– At the Sanctuary parking area (see Locations<\/a><\/strong>)
– Athletes and companions must strictly follow the organization\u2019s instructions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accommodation<\/strong>
– The organization will provide a hard floor at a location to be announced soon (see Locations)
– Accommodation in S\u00e1t\u00e3o: https:\/\/www.cm-satao.pt\/conhecer-satao\/alojamento<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Showers<\/strong>
– Available at the hard floor accommodation<\/strong> (see Locations<\/a><\/strong>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Electronic Punching<\/strong>
– The SPORTident<\/strong> system will be used
– Athletes who don\u2019t provide a SI card number during registration will be assigned one
– Rental cost: 2\u20ac per day<\/strong> for competition and training categories, 4\u20ac per day<\/strong> for SI Air
– Open categories are exempt<\/strong> from this fee
– If a SI station malfunctions, athletes must punch the backup boxes on the map<\/strong>
– Rented SI cards must be returned after the athlete’s last stage
– Lost or unreturned cards<\/strong> will incur a fee<\/strong>, which depends on the type of SI (we follow the PFO fee’s table)

Insurance<\/strong>
All participants are covered by insurance:
– FPO-licensed athletes:<\/strong> covered by the FPO\u2019s sports insurance (free of charge)
– Participants in Open and Training categories:<\/strong> covered by free insurance
– Other competition participants:<\/strong> insurance fee is 2\u20ac per stage<\/strong> (included in the entry fee)
– Participants must provide their passport number<\/strong> (preferred) or national ID number<\/strong> when registering on the OriOasis<\/strong> platform.
– Portuguese citizens must also provide their tax number (NIF)<\/strong>
Note:<\/strong> The FPO insurance and its policy conditions are outside the responsibility of the BEIRAOM 2026 organizers.

Map Collection<\/strong>
– There will be no map collection<\/strong> after the races. We kindly request all participants to respect Fair Play<\/strong> and avoid sharing course information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sinalization<\/strong>
– There will be traffic indications made by organization using orange and white arrows; All athletes must follow the organization instructions.<\/strong>

Prizes<\/strong>
BEIRA ALTA O\u2019MEETING<\/strong>
– Prizes for the top 3<\/strong> (top 5 in Elite) in all competition and open classes<\/strong> (male and female), based on the combined results (sum of points) of Saturday and Sunday<\/strong>
– M\/W10 and M\/W12:<\/strong> No classification prizes, but all participants will receive a souvenir<\/strong>
– Trophy for the top 3 clubs<\/strong>
WORLD RANKING EVENT<\/strong>
– Prizes for the top 5<\/strong> finishers in the WRE races

Elite Classes<\/strong>
– If more than 100 athletes register<\/strong> in Elite Classes, the class may be split into two<\/strong> groups, based on the IOF ranking (date 15\/02\/2026).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Race Time Limits<\/strong>
– 2 hours<\/p>\n\n\n\n
