Model Event
– Santuário Nosso Sr. dos Caminhos – Sátão (see Locations)
Bib Numbers
– The BIBs will be assigned by the organization, which shall be used by all athletes;
– The BIBs numbers shall be picked at the Secretariat, prior to the event;
– No athlete will be allowed to start without the respective Bib number. The Portuguese athletes may also use the official Bib number provided by de FPOe used by ALL athletes
Start Times
– Athletes without a SI card (chip) or bib, or with a different number than the one used at registration, will not be allowed to start
– SI card changes must be made in advance via email
– SI card changes made during the event will only be accepted at the Event Office and will incur a 2€ fee
– Open categories and M/W10 will not have start times – instead, they will have a time interval during which they can start using the start unit
– No start time changes are allowed
Event Office / Secretariat
– Will operate at the arenas of the three stages (see schedule in the program)
Toilets
– Available at the arena
Babysitting
– It will work in the arena of Saturday and Sunday races during the races.
Catering / Bar
– A bar will be available at the arena on both days, managed by external vendors
– The organizing club is not responsible for the operation or service of the bar
Parking
– At the Sanctuary parking area (see Locations)
– Athletes and companions must strictly follow the organization’s instructions
Accommodation
– The organization will provide a hard floor at a location to be announced soon (see Locations)

Showers
– Available at the hard floor accommodation (see Locations)
Electronic Punching
– The SPORTident system will be used
– Athletes who don’t provide a SI card number during registration will be assigned one
– Rental cost: 2€ per day for competition and training categories, 3€ per day for SI Air
– Open categories are exempt from this fee
– If a SI station malfunctions, athletes must punch the backup boxes on the map
– Rented SI cards must be returned after the athlete’s last stage
– Lost or unreturned cards will incur a 50€ fee
Insurance
All participants are covered by insurance:
– FPO-licensed athletes: covered by the FPO’s sports insurance (free of charge)
– Participants in Open and Training categories: covered by free insurance
– Other competition participants: insurance fee is 2€ per stage (included in the entry fee)
– Participants must provide their passport number (preferred) or national ID number when registering on the OriOasis platform.
– Portuguese citizens must also provide their tax number (NIF)
Note: The FPO insurance and its policy conditions are outside the responsibility of the BEIRAOM 2026 organizers.
Map Collection
– There will be no map collection after the races. We kindly request all participants to respect Fair Play and avoid sharing course information.
Sinalization
– There will be traffic indications made by organization using orange and white arrows; All athletes must follow the organization instructions.
Prizes
BEIRA ALTA O’MEETING
– Prizes for the top 3 (top 5 in Elite) in all competition and open classes (male and female), based on the combined results (sum of points) of Saturday and Sunday
– M/W10 and M/W12: No classification prizes, but all participants will receive a souvenir
– Trophy for the top 3 clubs
WORLD RANKING EVENT
– Prizes for the top 5 finishers in the WRE races
Elite Classes
– If more than 100 athletes register in Elite Classes, the class may be split into two groups, based on criteria to be defined
Race Time Limits
– 2 hours
